G-Dragon Sports $6.4 Million Diamond Ring in Latest Single ‘POWER’ MV

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is back with “POWER,” and he’s bringing the bling. 

The 36-year-old K-pop icon is seen sporting a $6.4 million diamond ring that’s as attention-grabbing as his signature vocals.

While many viewers assumed it was just a playful accessory or an inexpensive addition to his look, it carries a hefty price tag in the billions of won.

The Paraiba Tourmaline Cocktail Ring is from Jacob & Co, valued at 6.4 million USD (equivalent to 8.8 billion won). In addition, he wore two more Jacob & Co.diamond rings in “POWER” MV.

Plus, G-Dragon paired Dries Van Noten suit with a Chanel top and shoes from Paul Harnden Shoemakers. 

This is not the first time the BIGBANG leader has splurged on a high-end statement-making fashion accessory. He is known for his unique sense of style and sporting classic, edgy, and timeless pieces.

Previously, G-Dragon’s appearance on “You Quiz on the Block” generated buzz with his extravagant 150 million won brooch and stylish black suit. The brooch, a PEACEMINUSONE collaboration with Jacob & Co., features 18k white gold and precious stones, and was previously auctioned for $112,500. His Ernest W. Baker suit, valued at 3.15 million KRW, also garnered attention. 

On the work front, he resumed activities by ending a 7-year-long solo hiatus with the release of “POWER” on October 31. The long-awaited single was released in partnership with Galaxy Cooperation and EMPIRE, a Palestinian-owned label.

This is his first solo release since 2017’s critically acclaimed mini-album “Kwon Ji Yong”.
