Another beloved celebrity couple is about to tie the knot — Girl’s Day’s Minah (32, real name Bang Minah) and actor On Joo Wan (42, Song Jung Sik) will get married this November.
On July 4, My Daily exclusively reported that the two have been planning a fall wedding. The wedding is expected to take place privately this November. The news has surprised many fans, as the couple never even publicly announced they were dating.
After the news broke, their agencies confirmed their November wedding plans to local media.

On Joo Wan’s agency, Haewadal Entertainment, also said,

Their relationship actually goes back nearly a decade to 2016, when they starred together in the SBS drama Beautiful Gong Shim. At the time, they were simply close colleagues, senior and junior actors supporting each other in the industry.
Their bond grew deeper in 2021 when they reunited in the musical Those Days. Since then, they have grown closer both on and off stage. Last year, when Minah’s father passed away, On stayed by her side throughout the funeral.

Minah first debuted in 2010 as a member of Girl’s Day, one of K-pop’s most beloved girl groups. After making her mark as a singer, she expanded her career as an actress with roles in SBS’s Beautiful Gong Shim and My Absolute Boyfriend, as well as TVING’s Delivery Man.
If confirmed, she will become the second Girl’s Day member to tie the knot following Sojin, who married actor Lee Dong Ha in 2023.
On Joo Wan, who debuted in 2002 rose to fame soon after his appearance in KBS2’s The Blade and Petal.
