CJ ENM’s Mnet will kick off the debut project of the new global K-pop girl group I-LAND 2: N/a in 2024, led by the producer and director.
After introducing Song Kang and others as part of the show, the producer and performance director for this season were disclosed.
Taeyang, 24, and VVN are set to be the producers, and the performance directors will be Monika and Lee Jung. They will lead the creation of a groundbreaking collaboration girl group never seen before in I-LAND 2: N/a.
The show will premiere for the first time at 8:50 PM on April 18. The fusion of top talents from various fields is heightening anticipation for the program.
The iconic multi-talented Taeyang will take on the role of the lead producer for I-Land 2: N/a. Known for his debut with BIGBANG, he is adored as a versatile artist excelling in singing, performance, and production. Collaborating with Teddy, he aims to scout gifted participants to form the next generation of a global girl group and nurture their development.
24 and VVN (Vivienne), setting the K-pop trend with their distinct style and refined music, will feature as music producers on I-Land 2. 24 is responsible for producing and contributing to many of the iconic hits of BLACKPINK.
Monika and Lee Jung, who sparked a dance sensation in Korea on Mnet’s Street Woman Fighter, are coming together again as performance directors for I-LAND 2.
