ILLIT, TWS, and QWER Dominate June Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Ranking

The K-pop scene is abuzz with fresh talent, and June’s rookie group brand reputation rankings are in! 

According to the latest data, newcomers ILLIT, TWS, and QWER have dominated the rankings.

As per the big data analysis of the brand reputation for new idol groups in June 2024, ILLIT, TWS, and QWER took the top spots, with ILLIT at 1st, TWS at 2nd, and QWER at 3rd.

Last month, from May 4 to June 4, the Korea Business Research Institute collected 18,327,120 brand data points for new idol groups that debuted after 2023. This shows a decrease of 22.27% compared to the 23,579,001 brand data points for new idol groups in May of the previous year.

ILLIT, the youngest member of HYBE, has secured the top spot in the brand reputation rankings among new idol groups. 

According to the latest analysis, ILLIT brand reputation index stands at 3,182,785, comprising a participation index of 588,294, media index of 711,168, communication index of 1,016,709, and community index of 866,615. Notably, this represents a significant 40.34% decline from last month’s index of 5,335,252.

TWS secured the second spot in the rankings, with a total brand reputation index of 2,204,072. This breaks down into a participation index of 194,040, media index of 240,686, communication index of 948,088, and community index of 821,257. 

However, this represents a substantial decline of 49.64% compared to the previous month’s index of 4,377,016.

QWER secured the third spot in the rankings, boasting a comprehensive brand reputation index of 2,043,492. This score comprises a participation index of 558,600, a media index of 635,869, a communication index of 419,682, and a community index of 429,342.

The fourth spot went to TripleS, a girl group with 24 members, while BABYMONSTER, the latest addition to YG Entertainment’s roster, secured the fifth position.
