K-pop Retailer Suspends RIIZE Product Imports Following Seunghan’s Exit

RIIZE and SubK Shop

SubK Shop, a K-pop album and Merch seller, has announced a temporary halt on importing RIIZE products in light of recent events surrounding the exit of member Seunghan.

On October 16, SubK Shop made an important announcement honoring the wishes of fans and customers, stating, “In light of recent events, we have decided to temporarily halt the importing of RIIZE products out of respect for our customers, fans, and the artist.”

They shared, “Existing orders will still be fulfilled, pre-purchased inventory will remain,” and added, “future sales will be reevaluated as the situation evolves.”

BRIIZE (fandom) has been boycotting RIIZE since SM Entertainment removed Seunghan from the group two days after his return. The group has suffered a major setback and continues to lose followers rapidly on social media and music platforms.

So far, RIIZE has lost around 200K+ followers across social media. Plus, fans are sending dozens of protest trucks to SM Entertainment headquarters to push SM Entertainment to reverse its decision and reinstate Seunghan.

Fandoms of other groups are joining hands with RIIZE fans to demand his return and urge the label to reverse its decision to defeat fans who bully artists. The decision to remove Seunghan was made after a small group of Korean fans sent wreaths to SM Entertainment asking for his withdrawal.

Overseas fans are criticizing the label for not protecting and standing up for their artist against bullying.

In other news, SM Entertainment has officially listed RIIZE as a 6-member group after the exit of Seunghan.
