Korean actress Kim Sae Ron was laid to rest today in a private funeral ceremony, surrounded by loved ones and family members.
The “Bloodhounds” actress was surrounded by loved ones in her final moments. Family, friends, and those who cared for her gathered to say their final goodbyes.
Kim Sae Ron’s funeral took place today (February 19) at 6:30 AM at the Seoul Asan Medical Center’s funeral hall, in a private ceremony as per the family’s wishes.
She was laid to rest at the Tongil-ro Memorial Park. Fellow celebrities, including Kim Bo Ra, Park Woo Jin, Kwon Hyun Bin, and Jang Sung Gyu, paid their respects and bid farewell as they accompanied her on her final journey.
In the days following Kim Sae-ron’s passing on February 16, fellow celebrities continued to visit the funeral home to pay their respects. Notably, actor Won Bin was visibly shaken as he mourned the loss of his former co-star from the movie “The Man from Nowhere”. In addition, Han So Hee and AKMU also visited the funeral home.
Many celebrities sent wreaths to pay their respects, including actors Ma Dong Seok and Gong Myung, K-pop groups FTISLAND, ASTRO’s Jinjin and MJ, and Joo Ji Hoon’s agency.
Online tributes flooded in, with messages from Kim Sae Ron’s former agency family members, including Seo Ye Ji, Kim Ok Bin, Kim Min Chae, Seol In Ah, Seo Ha Jun, and Kim Seul Gi.
Kim Sae Ron, a talented 24-year-old actress, was found dead at her home in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu district on February 16. According to investigators, the evidence suggests that she took her own life, and there is no indication of homicide or other external factors contributing to her death.
