K-pop enthusiasts, get ready to mark your calendars for an epic month ahead!
February is going to be massive for fans of BABYMONSTER, LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, Cha Eunwoo, ATEEZ, P1Harmony, EPEX, Taeyong and Ten from NCT, and many other incredible artists. They’re all gearing up to release their highly anticipated new music very soon.
It is going to be a month of exciting firsts and triumphant comebacks in the world of K-pop. While some talented artists are making their debut with their very first albums, others are making a powerful return to the scene with their highly anticipated new releases.
Here is a list of K-pop acts releasing music in February
BABYMONSTER
BABYMONSTER is coming back with their second single, Stuck In The Middle, on February 1st. After BATTER UP, YG’s newest girl group is ready once again to shake the music scene. As the release date approaches, YG is dropping title posters, teasers, and other promotional content to build up anticipation for their upcoming release.
In addition, YG’s executive producer revealed that BABYMONSTER will release their debut mini-album in April and a full-length album in the fall. Ahyeon, who could not join the group for health reasons, has fully recovered. She will be joining the group for the first mini album and BABYMONSTER will continue as a 7-member group.
TWICE
The day after BABYMONSTER’s comeback TWICE will release their pre-release single I Got You on February 2.
On February 23, TWICE made a comeback as a complete group for the first time in about a year. Their 13th mini album, With YOU-th, captures the feeling of always being together in vibrant youth. Even after 10 years since their debut, TWICE continues to have a massive impact, especially in the United States.
Their previous album, READY TO BE, ranked 2nd on the Billboard 200, making it the highest-selling album by any K-pop girl group. To top it off, their pre-released song MOONLIGHT SUNRISE even entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
P1Harmony
P1Harmony is set to release their debut full-length album on February 5. Their first full-length album, Killin’ It, is being released after their last release, Fall In Love Again last November.
The physical album drops in Korea on February 7 and in the US on February 9.
EPEX
EPEX announced a comeback with a full-length album. Now, they are releasing content for their full-length album pre-release single, Graduation Day.
EPEX members are taking on the role of students, looking stunning in school uniforms. Graduation Day will be released on various music platforms on February 5 at 6 PM KST.
Ten of NCT/WayV
Ten of NCT/WayV is set to shake the music scene with their debut mini-album titled, TEN. The album contains a total of six songs with a title song, Nightwalker.
The teasers for the NCT Ten’s upcoming album are being sequentially released. After the release of the album on February 13, Ten will go on an Asian tour and perform in Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Jakarta.
LE SSERAFIM
Another girl group LE SSERAFIM is dropping their third mini album, EASY, on February 19. LE SSERAFIM’s EASY dives into the honest stories of anxiety and concerns that lie behind their confident image. This album allows LE SSERAFIM to express their vulnerabilities and share a deeper side of themselves with their fans.
LE SSERAFIM has been on an incredible journey since their debut album FEARLESS, followed by the 2nd mini album ANTIFRAGILE, the first full-length album UNFORGIVEN, and even their first English digital single Perfect Night. With each release, LE SSERAFIM has consistently pushed boundaries and achieved new career highs, captivating fans and garnering attention from all corners.
Cha Eunwoo
Cha Eunwoo is ready to release solo music 8 years after his debut. As an ASTRO member, he has serenaded listeners with his vocals multiple times. While he has sung OST, it is the first time he will be debuting as a soloist.
At the time of writing, the album title has not been announced yet. However, it is revealed that Eunwoo shot the title track of his upcoming album in LA with Hollywood actress India Eisley.
Cha Eunwoo’s debut album will be out on February 15.
n.SSign
n.SSign is set to release their second mini album titled, Happy &. Happy & is a fresh new album that’s set to be released six months after their debut album BIRTH OF COSMO which came out in August last year.
Happy & is scheduled to release on February 15 at 6 PM KST.
IU
In February, IU is also releasing a highly-awaited comeback album, The Winning, after nearly 3 years. She has made quite a splash with her pre-release single, Love Wins All. BTS’ V starred in the MV of the said single.
Moreover, the song shot up to the top of Melon Top 100 within an hour of its release. Besides all, Love Wins All became the first song of 2024 to achieve the Perfect All-Kill.
After releasing her album The Winning on February 20, IU will embark on a world tour, HER, in March.
Taeyong of NCT 127
Taeyong of NCT 127 will also be releasing a second album on February 26. Moreover, he will hold his solo concert in Seoul for two days, from February 24-25.
As per reports, Taeyong will be enlisting in the military in the first half of 2024. Prior to enlistment, he wants to release music for his fans. Previously, he shared his thoughts about the impending mandatory military enlistment.
PLAVE
PLAVE, the virtual boy group, is set to release their second mini-album, ASTERUM: 134-1. In December last year, the group released a digital single, Merry PLLIstmas.
Their second mini album, ASTERUM: 134-1 is slated for February 26.
ATEEZ
In December last year, ATEEZ topped the Billboard 200 with their latest release, THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL. At the start of the new year, the group is making a Japanese comeback with the single, Not Okay.
ATEEZ is getting ready to release their 3rd Japanese single called Not Okay and they’ve been teasing fans with all sorts of exciting content. It carries a powerful message about having an unwavering spirit and making your own decisions without getting influenced by what’s happening around you.
The single includes the title track Not Okay and another song called Days, which encourages fans to walk together towards the future.
ATEEZ’s Not Okay is scheduled to release on February 28.
NCT WISH
SM Entertainment’s new boy group, NCT WISH, is set to debut in Korea and Japan simultaneously. NCT WISH is a team that was created in Japan to align with NCT’s regional connections. The agency has a dual target strategy, aiming to capture both the Korean and Japanese markets simultaneously.
Unlike the previous approach of debuting locally and then expanding globally, NCT WISH will debut in Korea right from the start, just like any other K-pop group. They also have plans to target the Chinese market alongside Japan. Their debut single WISH will be released in both Korean and Japanese versions.
K-pop legend BoA has teamed up with NCT WISH as a producer. WISH is scheduled to be released on February 28.
