In just a little over a year and three months since their debut, they have crossed the incredible milestone of 3 billion cumulative streams on Spotify.

On November 9, Spotify, the largest streaming platform in the world, announced that the total number of streams for all the songs released by NewJeans has reached an impressive count of 3,065,735,640 on 7th of November.

Their debut album NewJeans last year was just the beginning of their incredible journey. Since then, they’ve had back-to-back successes with their single album OMG in January and their 2nd mini album Get Up in July.

In March, they reached a combined 1 billion streams on Spotify in just 219 days, setting a record for the shortest time taken by a K-pop artist. In less than 5 months, they’ve already surpassed 2 billion streams, and they added another 1 billion views in just about 3 months.

NewJeans is the first K-pop girl group to perform at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), scheduled to take place on November 19.
