The escalating HYBE-ADOR conflict has most certainly taken a toll on the well-being and mental health of NewJeans members. Fans have noticed that they do not appear as loud and cheery as before, during their recent live streams.
Time and again, NewJeans members have reassured worrying fans that things will turn on fine.
Previously, Danielle revealed feeling a little heavy followed by Minji asking fans not to worry as they’re stronger than they think.
On May 19, the 19-year-old singer communicated with fans through the Phoning app, saying, “I’m having a hard time sleeping these days,” and “I’m looking for various ways.”
She further went on to dish on the current situation, saying, “There are a lot of things I don’t know and many things that are still difficult to understand.”
Danielle reassured fans that the difficult time will pass, “Anyway, I think there is a reason for everything, it may be difficult now, but it will eventually pass.”
In other news, NewJeans members and their parents have reportedly filed a petition with the court, showing support for CEO Min Hee Jin in her dispute with HYBE. The conflict began on April 22 over allegations of management rights theft. HYBE aims to replace CEO Min and other ADOR executives at an extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting on May 31.
However, the court is expected to make a decision on blocking HYBE’s voting rights before the meeting.
