On November 8, BBMAs just dropped the news that NewJeans have been officially selected as performers for the 2023 BBMAs. The BBMAs made the exciting announcement through their official social media channels.
They’re planning to perform their hit songs Super Shy and OMG, both of which made it onto Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ chart this year. ADOR, their agency, shared that being selected as performers at the BBMAs is a massive achievement for New Jeans.
It’s a big deal because the BBMAs is one of the top music award shows in the US, alongside the Grammys and American Music Awards. NewJeans is the first K-pop group to be chosen as BBMAs performers within just a year and three months since their debut.
