PLAVE’s Agency Starts Disciplinary Action Against Employee for Internal Information Leak

The virtual group PLAVE’s agency has started taking disciplinary action against an employee who disclosed internal information.

On March 26, VLAST, the agency of PLAVE, released an official statement declaring that they were conducting disciplinary proceedings against a particular employee in the company regarding the leakage of internal information.

The agency stated, Through reports from fans and internal investigations, VLAST has discovered that a certain employee committed the following actions 

  1. Slandering artists’ self-composed songs,
  2. Filming and leaking information from within the company,
  3. Leaking melodies of unreleased songs
  4. Premium resale price on official goods,
  5. SNS activities during working hours.”

VLAST added, “These actions are in violation of confidentiality agreements and company regulations, thus we’re undergoing a process of disciplinary proceedings against the employee currently. In early 2024, VLAST completed legal action against former employees who spread internal company information and rumors on social media, and plans to respond sternly to this incident as well.”

On another note, VLAST’s virtual idol group PLAVE is set to host its first fan concert ‘Hello, Asterum!’ at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park on April 13 and 14. The pre-sale tickets were completely snapped up within 10 minutes.
