Samsung Electronics has announced BTS leader RM as the official ambassador for their premium Art TV line. Starting this week, Art TV owners worldwide will be able to enjoy curated artworks accompanied by his personal commentary.
As part of his role, RM will make his first official appearance at Art Basel in Basel, Switzerland, from June 19-22. This is going to be his first public appearance after his military discharge on June 10.
Art Basel is a premier art fair in Basel, Switzerland, where galleries and artists show their latest works. It’s a major event for modern and contemporary art, featuring over 290 galleries and 4000+ artists from around the world.
The BTS leader will hold a special talk session on June 18, and more details about his local activities and behind-the-scenes stories will be shared through Samsung Electronics’ Newsroom.
Regarding his appointment as Samsung Art TV ambassador, RM shared his thoughts, saying

Samsung is making it easier than ever to enjoy world-class art from the comfort of your living room. The company has expanded its Art Store service, originally created for ‘The Frame’ lifestyle TVs, to now include Neo QLED and QLED models. This means more Samsung TV owners can transform their screens into personal art galleries.
The Samsung Art Store offers a premium subscription service featuring about 3,500 stunning artworks in crisp 4K resolution. The collection includes pieces from famous museums and celebrated artists worldwide, allowing users to curate their own digital exhibitions.
Meanwhile, RM and the other newly discharged members, Jungkook, V, and Jimin, will continue with solo activities in the coming days. It is expected that they will sequentially release solo projects and resume BTS activities by late 2025 or early 2026. Members will simultaneously work on the BTS comeback album and world tour while carrying out individual activities.
