As UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassadors, SEVENTEEN is dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders and change-makers.

The grant scheme, which begins recruiting participants on August 12, will provide funding and resources to youth-led projects and ideas that drive positive change in their communities.

SEVENTEEN is backing a new youth initiative with a $1 million donation. As UNESCO Youth Goodwill Ambassadors, they’re supporting the ‘Going Together – For Youth Creativity & Well-Being’ project. This program will:

  • Build confidence and resilience in young people through music, art, and sports
  • Create communities that promote creativity and youth development
  • Improve well-being and mental health for young people

During the nomination ceremony for Youth Goodwill Ambassador in Paris, they pledged to donate $1 Million (equivalent to around 1.3 billion won).

On the work front, SEVENTEEN is set to make a comeback in October with their 12th mini album, but with a temporary change in lineup. Member Jeonghan will be absent due to his mandatory military service, while Jun will also be unable to participate due to his scheduled activities in China.

Jeonghan and Jun will also participate in the upcoming World Tour in Korea, Asia, and the US.
