TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is set to release a new digital single titled “Love Language” next month, as announced by BIGHIT MUSIC on the Weverse fan platform. This upcoming release is expected to be a sweet and refreshing confession.
On April 22 (Korean time), BIGHIT MUSIC, a label under HYBE, dropped the first teaser for “Love Language” on social media platforms.
In the official announcement, the label described the song as, “Blending a bright and cheerful melody rooted in the Afro-house genre with TXT’s signature refreshing energy, “Love Language” offers a sound that captures the light and vibrant spirit of the coming season.”
Previously, TXT hinted at a May comeback with a teaser titled “What’s Your Love Language?” for May 2 at AXE Ceremonia earlier this month. So, it is hardly a surprise for MOAs as it has been teased multiple times. Nonetheless, fans are excited as it is their first release in six months.
Huening Kai participated in writing the lyrics for “Love Language”, which are expected to express the group’s refreshing energy.
The song is being released six months after their 7th mini-album “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” in November 2024. Fans decoded the song’s concept with a secret message “UNLOCKING LOVE…UNTIL NEXT TIME. Play More?” on the group’s website.
Currently, TXT is holding concerts worldwide as part of the world tour “ACT: PROMISE-EP.2”. They will hold shows in Aichi (April 25-26), Fukuoka (April 29-30), Macau (May 9-11), Osaka (May 17-18).
Besides the single “Love Language”, they will release OST for tvN’s “Hospital Playlist” spin-off series “Resident Playbook”. Interestingly, members Yeonjun and Soobin will also make cameos in the drama as former idol groupmates of first-year resident Kang You Seok.
Meanwhile, TXT will release “Love Language” on all major music platforms on May 2 at 1 pm.
