On a sunny day at Gocheok Sky Dome, the excitement was palpable as TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s (TXT) Yeonjun stepped up to the mound to throw the first pitch for Netflix’s sports reality show A Clean Sweep.
On June 30, the baseball match was held at the Gocheok Stadium, where the 24-year-old K-pop idol threw the first pitch for CK Monsters.
He shared his excitement for throwing the first pitch, saying “I have only ever come to Gocheok Sky Dome for a concert, so now that I am here to throw the first pitch, I am feeling very excited and nervous.”
Yeonjun hoped for players’ safety during the match, “I hope that the players of both the teams have a safe game without getting hurt and I hope that the baseball fans that are here today make a lot of fun memories.”
He was invited by the producer of the show, Jang Siwon, and became the second male artist to throw a pitch for the show.
A Clean Sweep is a Netflix sports reality show that brings together former professional baseball players to form a team, the CK Monsters, which competes against top high school teams in Korea.
