The former NCT member was questioned by police at the Bangbae Police Station in Seoul on August 28 regarding sexual assault allegations. The investigation follows a complaint filed by an adult female victim on June 13.
While the specific charges remain undisclosed, the police have confirmed that a case has been opened against Taeil.
Fans were shocked to learn that a police report was filed against him on June 13, just one day before his birthday. Adding to the surprise, Taeil went ahead with a live broadcast on his birthday, June 14.
